“Hi, I’m Amy! Also known as @amayzingeats on Instagram. I’m originally from the East Coast but currently living in Los Angeles, so I’ve got the perfect blend of sass and laid-back attitude! I was inspired by food from an early age and food was always a big part of my East Coast Italian upbringing. I love cooking, but more importantly I LOVE exploring culture through food, and introducing new foods to my family and friends. Whether it be Asian foods, Italian, Latin cuisine or literally just anything in between, I believe food is one of life’s greatest pleasures!

Aside from food, I’m a big advocate of mental health and mental health awareness. I struggle myself with bouts of anxiety and depression and I’ve always been up front with my struggles by sharing my experiences with my followers and community because I want them to know, that they’re not alone. It happens to the best of us.

I’m a big believer in the importance of self-care, and my daily beauty routine reflects that. A lot of my time spent is working on my brand, building up my page and community, going to all sorts of fun and exciting food events and tastings. I know a lot of people say Instagram is the vanity aspect of your life but with me, what you see is what you get.

My skincare routine in the morning starts with the Murad Acne Control kit. So I start off by using the Clarifying Cleanser to wash my face. I also like to use the Murad Brightening Boost to give my face a glow. Then I use the Outsmart Acne clarifying treatment, and follow with the ever so famous Rapid Relief acne spot treatment. Before finishing, I put on the PCA Skin C&E Strength cream which, hence the name, has both Vitamin C and E and is amazing for the skin. Then I finish off with the Murad Oil-control SPF mattifier.

As far as my everyday makeup look, I keep it pretty simple. I start with the LA Girl Pro concealer to cover any spots. Then I use the NYX BB Cream in golden for a light coverage on my face. Then I finish off my base with a Two Faced blush, and Two Faced Candlelight glow. For my eyes I like to use the Two Faced natural eye shadow collection, then finish off with Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' express mascara. That’s pretty much it, however I do like to spice up my look a little if I’m going out for the evening or to an event. I’ll start off my base with the Cover FX Custom enhancer drops in Halo, then use the Hourglass stick foundation in Ivory. Then I use the Perricone MD No Makeup concealer in medium to give a little extra coverage. For contour and highlighting, I like to use the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit in light to medium, and also the ABH bronzer in saddle. I also like to use ABH’s eyebrow pencil in taupe, and the Urban Decay Naked 2 eyeshadow palette, then complete my eyes with the Lise Watier Dramatique Intense 3D volume mascara. To top off my look, I put on the Hourglass Confession Ultra Slim high intensity lip color in “I want”.

For my nighttime skincare routine, I use my all-time favorite Nu-Pore clarifying towelettes, they work like a charm! Then I cleanse with the Murad Clarifying cleanser and combine it with the Bare Minerals exfoliant. I also go back with the Outsmart acne treatment and use the Rapid Relief spot treatment on any imperfections I might have. Then I use the Murad Brightening Boost again and follow that with the Murad Complete Age reform night cream. I then finish off with Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel cream, and also their Hydro Boost eye cream.

I believe that self-care is just as important as skincare. So when I make time for myself, I like to indulge in face masks. Like the Murad clarifying mask, as well as really nice undereye masks like the CyMe refine hydro gel eye mask. Another self-care skincare product I really love is the Glow Skincare cold roller. It feels so nice on the skin and just helps make all the other products work better. I also really love this rose oil hand cream from Trader Joe’s, as well as a good bath bomb and amazing lip gloss.

When it comes to taking care of my hair, I really love the Davines Minu Shampoo & Conditioner. Then to keep my hair glowing and shiny, I like to use the Pureology Serious Colour Care highlight stylist. When I style my hair, I either go for the Moroccan Oil styling cream, the Davines Oi All in one milk, or the Living Proof T.B.D. multi-tasking styler. And when I want to curl or style my hair, I use the Sultra wand.”
