"Hi! I’m Asia Schneider, (@raisinggrey). I’m an actress (notably from Typical Rick) turned mom to an adorable baby boy, Greysen. My acting dreams started fairly young as I was exposed to it early on by my uncle, actor/comedian Rob Schneider. After having my son my passions have slightly changed. I still go out on auditions, however I spend my free time exploring Pasadena, capturing beautiful photos of my baby, vlogging our life on YouTube, and enjoying motherhood. I’m also currently in the research phase of starting my own business, an organic unisex clothing line for babies!
As an actress and new mom, I always need to look my best. That starts with skincare. So I start my routine with a good gentle scrub for my face and neck, which makes my skin extremely smooth and soft, ready for makeup that won’t look rough and caked on. My next step is moisturizing. I use an under eye cream by Belif. Little tip would be look into subscribing to Sephora’s gift box subscription service, you get a small box full of fun popular products to try make-up and moisturizers, this is where I got Belif. Next step, I use Laura Merceir’s Makeup Primer. I especially use this under my eyes followed by a light concealer by L.A. Girl. No joke this concealer costs like 2 dollars, such a great find and really good coverage. After applying the under eye concealer, I use a HD foundation powder from Makeup Forever to set it. (Pro tip; if you use a lot of powder it sets the makeup and you won’t have any lines under your eyes! HD powder is great for taking photos, it gets you camera ready). Last few steps to my routine, I use a bronzer from Morphe X Bretman Rock ‘Babe in Paradise’ highlighter palette.
I love all things highlighter, for my eyes for my cheeks, nose, above my upper lip, pretty much everywhere. It really makes your skin pop and look amazing. My all-time favorite highlighters are Becca and Kylie. (a little goes along way). Next, I have pretty thick eye brows in general, but there are some spaces I fill in with Benefit’s Gimme Brow, it’s a small brush that you brush the color through your brows and it’s wonderful! Lastly, I love Violet Voss x Nicol Concillo eye palette, tart palette and Becca palette for eye shadows. They have a wonderful variety of neutrals.
Oh! And I can’t forget my all time, must have, go to mascara; COVERGIRL’s Lash Blast Volume. I love saving money where I can and sometimes finding makeup at Rite Aid or CVS works just as good as the designer stuff. This is especially true for this mascara, it goes on thick but doesn’t weigh down your lashes. I’ve tried so many other brands and that was always my biggest struggle. I’m Asian, so my lashes naturally are flatter with less of a curl, but with the lash blast they look bomb and it only costs 8 bucks.
Another wonderful brand is Elf. I love elf brushes because they’re extremely inexpensive but work so well, I’ve also gotten liquid eye liner from elf and love it. I love adding a lip to my look, and you can try some fun colors with Huda Beauty, gives you a lovely matte lip look."
