"Hi there! I'm Kathleen Graff (@kathleengrrr). I am an actress and translator living in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Germany, I am now living in paradise following my dream! :) After getting my bachelor's degree in translation and working an office job, I decided to take a few acting classes in London before moving there for a few months to get my acting career started. But ultimately I always knew LA was the place to be for actors who want to learn from the best, so I packed my bags in early 2016 and headed west towards sunshine and palm trees! I absolutely love the vibes here, the ocean and the incredibly friendly and open-minded people I was fortunate to become friends with.

Since my skin is very dry and sensitive, especially in the desert climate of LA, I've been loyal to my La Roche-Posay skincare for as long as I remember. I use their Lipikar Syndet cleanser which doesn't dry out my skin, but leaves it feeling soft and hydrated. After that, I use their Physiological Soothing Lotion (toner without alcohol) on a cotton pad to get rid of any residue left on my skin from the day and to deep clean my pores. While that is drying, I gently apply the Clinique All About Eyes Rich eye cream around my eyes. I haven't found an eye cream that hydrates my under eyes better that this one, I absolutely love it. If I have any marks from healing blemishes, I dab on a little bit of BiOil to help the dark/red spots fade faster. It's also amazing for scars! To finish everything up, I put on the La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Riche face cream. Done! It keeps my face hydrated and smooth throughout the entire day. I follow the same routine at night, except for also applying a lash serum and occasionally some Mario Badescu drying lotion on any spots I might have.

For my make up, I have fallen in love with the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Foundation. It makes my skin look almost airbrushed! Also, it lasts all day. As an eyeshadow base, I always use the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly, it keeps my eyeshadow from creasing all day and makes the colors look more vibrant. As for colors, I usually only use some skin toned color as a base, along with a light brown in the crease and some black shadow along the lash line. I also always tight line my upper lash line with a black waterproof kajal from NYX to make the lashes appear fuller, works like a charm. When it comes to mascara, I combine two for the perfect look. After curling my lashes, I apply one coat of the Maybelline Falsies Waterproof to make the curl last, before applying 1-2 coats of the L'Oreal Lash Paradise for volume. No smudging and the curl last all day! I have gotten my eyebrows micro bladed about 2 years ago (best $250 I've ever spent), but I do fill in any sparse areas left with the waterproof Suqqu Liquid Eyebrow Pen in 01 Moss Green. No worries, it's not actually green, but the perfect ashy shade of brown. I set the brow hairs with Anastasia Beverly Hills clear brow gel to make them stay in place all day. To prep and color-correct my undereye area, I apply I thin layer of MAC's Prep + Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast. For concealer, I cannot live without Tarte Shape Tape, it's just incredible when it comes to coverage and staying power. As blush I currently like to use the Clinique Cheek Pop in melon pop and the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer has been a staple for the past few months, it smells amazing too! I set everything apart from the under eye area with the Tarte Smooth Operator Finishing Powder before spraying my face with Evian Facial Spray to get rid of any excess powder on the fine hairs and set my makeup.

As for my skincare, in the shower I also like using hydrating products. I currently enjoy using the SheaMoisture Shower Oil along with the Otavea Chocolate Coffee scrub (wakes you up before you actually had your coffee yet) about twice a week. For my hair, any hydrating (and pleasant-smelling) shampoo and conditioner will do, I'm not too picky. Brushing the conditioner through my hair with a tangle teezer makes a huge difference! When I get out of the shower, I like to apply the Body Urea body lotion from Garnier along with some NOW Sweet Almond Body oil on my legs on days I wear a dress or shorts.

I love spending time out in nature, at the beach, hiking, surfing or sitting in a park listening to an audio book. On the weekends, I enjoy driving around and exploring new areas and places in and around LA, there's so much to see and do!"
