“Hello!! My name is Mariah, known as Mariah Marie online (@mariahhhmarie)! I am a model turned lifestyle blogger. I have been a creative soul since birth finding different outlets through music, art and more recently fashion and beauty to express myself. About 4 years ago I took the leap to start modeling and I loved it! It deepened my love for all things fashion and beauty. Two years into modeling, I started working as a makeup artist at Sephora. I found that although I loved makeup, that it’s not where my heart was. It wasn’t until last year that I discovered the beautiful world of blogging and then soon to follow, the birth of my lifestyle blog.
I still model to this day and a part of that is making sure you look and feel your best at all times. If being a makeup artist taught me anything, I would say my number one tip is that your skin is the most important! Whether you wear makeup or not skin is so important! I will soon have my full morning and night routine available on my website soon but in short here are some ride or die products for me!
I love to cleanse with the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser. Then follow that with Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel, and LilyAna Naturals Vitamin C serum. I also like the CeraVe Eye Repair Cream, and Pond’s Dry Skin Cream. When I exfoliate with a scrub, it’s usually a coffee scrub! Coffee has wonderful skin benefits! And I apply those products in that order! Steps 3 and 4 are new as of a year ago but everything else I have used since I was about 16 years old! Through the acne, the dry patches the weird oily t-zones – this routine hasn’t failed me. And an extra little tip is if you do have hyperpigmentation or scarring (like I did/do) I recommend getting some rosehip oil and during step 3. Apply the tiniest amount of the oil to the scars every day. Trust me you will see a difference after about a month!
Now that I have a clean fresh base it’s time for makeup! For foundation I use the Dior Forever Foundation. It has soooo much pigment, this foundation lasts you forever. Then I use the Tarte shape Tape concealer, and bronze with the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Powder. For my brows, I of course go with the ABH Brow Pomade. Then finish off my eyes with Maybelline Great Lash and sometimes apply lashes, specifically Ardell Studio Effect ‘Wispies’. For highlight, I like ColourPop in ‘Lunch Money’. Then complete my look with any clear gloss, and Urban Decay All Nighter. You can find updated makeup routines and favorites on my website because over the years I have tried countless products!
That’s about it for what I do on a day to day basis!”
